Liberty Publications has a long trajectory in printed publications. Among their products they have Colors an intercultural magazine originally printed and distributed in Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, back in 1998.
Fast forward to 2013, the publisher decides to revive Colors, this time in a digital form. With a limited budget and a team of 2, the task at hand asked for: reviewing the existing digital version, which was not easy on the eye, neither easy to navigate, advise on the best platform, create a new template for the website, illustrations & content, support the client in their transition from print to digital, create a profile of the reader in line with the trends in communication, content and online channels, set up a sustainable business model, create content biweekly, identifying collaborators, building the mailing list, newsletter, identify sources of income or savings. Within a year, readership grew from zero to 1000 subscribers.
A new whole concept is in process now to relaunch the magazine!
